Jane Rangiwahia

Jane Rangiwahia lives in Auckland, New Zealand. Growing up in Hawera, Taranaki her food journey started early as the eldest of five and only daughter, learning to cook from her mum who taught her well.

Jane met the iconic Kiwi Celebrity Cook Jo Seagar. Jo encouraged her to take her skills and make them marketable.

Jane has worked on TV shows as a food stylist been in front of the camera featuring as a guest cook on  Whānau Living ,and had a column for Woman’s Day NZ . Jane met Simon Gault and worked closely with Simon on his Herald on Sunday columns and his book 'Summer with Simon Gault'.

Jane has worked on the last two series of the TV One show 'Eat Well For Less' as the Food Producer. In 2023 she started community cooking classes for Communities Feeding Communities in Roskill South, creating and teaching recipes using the ingredients from the social supermarket and the community garden.

Jane and her younger brother Paul have just published their first book 'Kai and Kindness'. Their aim is to help start conversations about health and emotional wellbeing and promote positive action.
